Outside Outside is a patio area with table and barbecue for you to make the most of your surroundings. The south-facing aspect also has gorgeous views over the rolling Normandy countryside. All of this is set in over four acres of our own grounds, including a lovely old orchard. We have created a new garden whilst retaining the natural features that blend so well into the local countryside. La Herpiniere is also a haven for wildlife. To date we have spotted deer, red squirrels, kingfishers, buzzards, coypu, foxes, badgers, different owls, woodpeckers, cuckoos, hares, swallowtail butterflies and hummingbird moths. We hope that the addition of a large pond will only add to your enjoyment at La Herpiniere. With the safety of our younger visitors in mind, the pond has been fenced off from the gite. |
