Accommodation Fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, full oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and more crockery and utensils than you need. Dining area with table and chairs. Lounge area with a log burner, sofas, English free-view satellite TV, CD player, DVD player and a selection of books and games. Ground floor toilet. Two ensuite bedrooms; one has a double bed and the other has twin beds. A cot, baby bath and high chair are available if required. The cottage has central heating and double glazing. |

Outside The property, which is not overlooked, is set in over 3 acres with ample parking. The cottage is down a 50m drive and benefits with south facing views across tranquil countryside. There is a patio with garden furniture, sun loungers and a barbecue. Four mountain bikes are available for guests use. |

Local area The nearest bakery / bar is less than 2km away. The cottage is situated in the prettiest Calvados region and near the spectacular Vire Gorges. Lake Dathee, nearby, features boating and fishing. There is an excellent 18 hole golf course overlooking the lake. The market town of Vire (5km) offers all facilities including an internet cafe. Easy driving to Granville and sandy beaches, Le Mont St. Michel, Bayeux and the Normandy landing beaches. Local activities include fishing, golf, hiking, cycling, sailing and an indoor swimming pool. |
