Accommodation

Blasi Farmhouse and Barn have been sympathetically renovated retaining many original features. The light and spacious accommodation is on two floors.

Downstairs Blasi has a large fully equipped farmhouse kitchen.

There is a second smaller kitchen similarly equipped and is often used as the barbecue kitchen.

The dramatic vaulted living / dining room has a very large table, comfortable sofas and chairs placed around the fireplace, which has a Godin wood burner.

From the dining room the French doors open onto a terrace which has large wooden tables and a brick barbecue.

Downstairs in the Farmhouse there is a large family bedroom and a twin bedroom. Both have ceiling fans.

Blasi has a separate WC, two luxury walk-in shower rooms and a bathroom and an ensuite shower and loo.

Upstairs in the Barn there is a large family bedroom, a twin room and a mezzanine bedroom.

The Farmhouse and Barn are connected internally on the ground floor.

Blasi has satellite HD TV, DVD, stereo and Wi-Fi internet connection.

Outside

The private pool has a summer cover and a vine and honeysuckle covered pergola.

There is a boules pitch and swing-ball.

The property and pool are south facing and there are plenty of acacia and mulberry trees providing shady areas.

Local area and activities

The countryside is superb for walking, part of the famous pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostella passes nearby.

Blasi is situated in truly beautiful countryside within easy reach of the Lot and Gorges of Averyon. Lauzerte is listed as one of the most beautiful villages in France and is also a stopping place on the famous pilgrims route to Santiago de Compostella. Although inland there are sandy beaches and waterslides at the nearby parc de loisir at Montcuq which also has a superb Sunday Market.

Cycling is a passion in this part of France. The rolling countryside is ideal for the enthusiast or for exploring. Bicycles can be provided on request.
The Tour de France in July passes through the region and is something that should not be missed.

A really worthwhile trip is by kayak or canoe through the dramatic and beautiful scenery of the Gorges of Averyon at St Antonin Noble Val.

St-Nicholas-de-la-Grave has a good water sports centre with canoes, boats and pedalos for hire.

Take a stroll along the banks of the Tarn and Garonne rivers and enjoy the diversity of bird and wildlife.

There is an excellent equestrian centre a few minutes minutes away at Lauzerte with riding for all levels of experience catered for.

Golf - at Sauveterre there is a 9-hole course, of 5244 metres in a wooded valley with water hazards, suitable for all standards.

Fishing - good fishing is available in the lakes and rivers nearby.

Tennis courts at Cazes-Mondenard.

Parachuting at Bouloc, learn to fly a glider at Moissac or go quad-biking. For younger children there is motor biking and quad biking at “Club PW50” at Lafrançaise for under 12s.

There is a large open-air swimming pool with slide at the “Vallee de Loisirs” in Lafrançaise or a beach at Montaigu-de-Quercy or Beaumont-de-Lomagne.

There are several farm parks nearby and also “Petit Paris” in Montauban.
