La Bergerie

This charming and detached recently converted barn provides two private terraces surrounded by our beautiful gardens attracting wildlife in abundance and its own driveway with shady parking. La Bergerie has one double, one single bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a large open plan living area complete with wood-burning stove. The bathroom consists of shower, WC and washbasin.

Le Moulinet

Le Moulinet occupies the lower floor of the mill overlooking the tumbling stream and peaceful countryside beyond. A walled private sheltered terrace provides a charming entrance to our recently converted cottage with one double, one bunk bed, one single bedroom. The cottage also has a comfortable sitting room complete with a wood-burning stove, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom consisting of shower, WC and washbasin.

Le Grange

This property (main picture) has its own secluded setting with a westerly aspect terrace overlooking the meadows ideal for watching the beautiful sunsets. La Grange features one large double, one bunk bed and one twin bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen complete with washing machine and a comfortable sitting room with wood burning stove. The bathroom consists of WC, bath, shower and washbasin.

All gites except La Grange share a communal laundry room with automatic washing machine.

Sky TV is available in all gites offering all free-to-view channels.

Kitchens have microwaves, fridge/freezers, hob and ovens.

Outside

The gites are set in 4 acres of meadow land along with the owners home.

Each gite has its own private terrace area equipped with garden furniture and barbecues.

Local area

Fosse, only 5 minutes walk, offers free access to our local swimming pool and tennis courts and Le Vivier offers a plan d'eau and mini golf course, 10 minutes walk in the opposite direction.

Several bars/restaurants, a general store, bakery, butcher and tabac are located in Caudies which is 10 minutes drive away.

The larger village of St Paul - a 20 minute drive - has several restaurants, banks, petrol stations, bakery, butcher, tabac and a medium-sized Champion supermarket.

Within an hour of the gites are the thermal baths at Rennes les Bains, one of the largest Cathar castles - Peyrepetuse, the Gorge de Galamus at St Paul to Ermitage de St Antoine, Mount Canigou and Perpignan.

The closest airports are Carcassonne (1.5 hours),Toulouse (2 hours) and Gerona, Spain (2 hours).
 

Local activities

The Eastern Pyrenees offers a wide range of activities that everyone can enjoy from adrenaline seeking adventures to quality family fun, all available within 15 minutes drive of our gites conducted by fully qualified instructors.

The Activity Centre Roc Aqua offers rafting, hydrospeed, kayaking, canyoning, pot holing, climbing, mountain biking, hiking and horse riding.

There are countless walks to satisfy people of any fitness level, there is the long distance GR 36 trekking route across the Pyrenees passes close to our complex as well as many others.

Mid season prices apply over the Christmas holidays.

Electric and fuel for wood burning stoves are charged for during winter months.

Short breaks and bed and breakfast are also possible subject to availability.

Reductions are available in the low seasons for longer lets.

Discounts are available when booking two or more properties.

Baby sitting, bed linen and towel hire, and additional maid service are available for a small extra charge.
