The area

The holiday homes are situated on the southern hillside overlooking the medieval town of Lodève.
Lodève is situated in the heart of the Languedoc and is the gateway to the Mediterranean plains and the beaches of the south.

The nearby Lac du Salagou covering an area of 2000 acres is a paradise for fishing, swimming and water sports.
Around the lake are over 200km of trails for hiking, horse riding and cycling.

The beaches of the Mediterranean are less than an hour away.

Montpellier, the capital of the Hérault, is 50km from Lodève.

The Hérault department was elected the most attractive department in France. Here you will find ancient villages, abbeys, monasteries, Templar sites, churches, caves and canyons amidst a patchwork of vineyards producing quality wines such as St Chinian and Faugères.
