	Very pretty cottage in its own private garden with swimming pool and private parking. This single storey gite is at the rear of the owner’s 1 acre of grounds yet completely private. Le Lilas is peacefully located on the outskirts of a pretty village, 3km from the medieval city of Carcassonne.

Set in grounds of 1 acre with private terrace / patio, enclosed garden / play area, outdoor games area and swimming pool.

Sun loungers, patio furniture, barbecue, tennis racquets and table tennis are all available for guests use.

French doors from the kitchen/diner and living room open onto the patio.

There is a French boules court in the orchard and covered parking.

Local area

Only 3km from Carcassonne, the property provides an excellent base to discover the Cathar Castles, to cycle or hike.

There are many day excursion possibilities including ’La Ville Rose’ of Toulouse, Mazamet, Castres, the delightful town of Narbonne, Castelnaudary and Quillan one of the best points of departure for forays into the forests of the Pyrénean foothills.

The Mediterranean seaside resorts along with endless miles of golden sandy beaches are easily accessible.

Lake ‘de la Cavayere’, 2km, in a lovely setting, has beaches, games areas and is a lovely spot to picnic.

The owner can provide a pick-up service from Carcassonne station or airport and arrange car hire if required.
