Farmhouse Spacious comfortable lounge and dining room with woodburner and full central heating. The kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, gas cooker, microwave and food mixer. Two ground floor bedrooms. Bathroom, shower room and toilets. On the first floor there are three more bedrooms, two of which have ensuite facilities. A high chair, two cots and stairgate are available for use. |

Studio The studio is fully equipped for up to three people. It is comfortably furnished with one sofa convertible to a double bed and one single sofa bed, central heating and a wood burner. It has a separate shower, toilet and washbasin with independent gas hot water boiler. It has its own private, separate decking area with sun loungers, umbrella, barbecue, dining table and chairs. |

Outside The property is set in 3 acres of enclosed grounds. Outbuildings have been converted for recreational use. There is a large games room containing table tennis, snooker, bowling alley, darts, music centre and various outdoor and indoor games. Heated, fenced swimming pool (seasonal) and sun terrace. There are safe playing areas in the grounds where there are swings and a Wendy house. The orchard is available for football, golf, cricket and badminton. There is an outside dining table to accommodate 14 plus, as well as other tables and chairs, parasols and sun loungers for relaxing on the lawns in divided areas of the grounds. The old Bakehouse provides a unique, covered barbecue area. |

Local area The property is situated in a private, tranquil location with undisturbed views of open countryside, yet only five minutes from shops and restaurants in the village of Louvigne du Desert Fougeres Forest is just a 10 minute drive for forest walks, horse riding, mountain bike tracks and lakeside swimming. Even closer is the religious sanctuary village of Pontmain, where the apparition of the Virgin Mary was sighted in 1871. The ancient town of Fougeres is a 15 minutes drive from the property and offers a glimpse into the history and charm of the area. The Brittany American War Cemetery and Memorial is 15 minutes from La Foret de Glenne. Sights within a one hour easy drive Laval - Castle, "Douanier Rousseau" Art Gallery, boat trip on the Mayenne. Granville - Sailing & fishing harbour, 17th century Bassin and Lieutenance buildings. Mont St. Michel - World famous abbey on an island which becomes isolated by the incoming tide. Villedieu-les-Poeles - Copper crafts, copper and lace museums, Norman furniture museum. Cancale - Small fishing port famous for oysters. Rennes - Capital of Brittany, medieval streets, half timbered houses, Brittany Museum. Further afield Le Mans - known for its 24 hour car race and car museum. Alencon - Famous for lace, fine art and lace museum. D-Day Beaches - Landing sites with a series of monuments commemorating Allied Forces. Falaise - Birthplace of William the Conqueror. Pont-l'eveque - Home of the famous cheese. Bayeux - Home of the famous "Bayeux Tapestry". Dinard - Opposite St-Malo in a magnificent setting on the estuary of the River Rance. St. Malo - Historical walled city, fishing port and yachting harbour. Nantes - The Venice of the West. |
